General conditions of participationApplications to participate must be submitted online from 17 June 2025 at 10 a.m. at www.bicherdeeg.lu.
The size of the stands and their respective locations will be communicated to you at a later date. Decisions on the distribution of stands will be made by the organiser. No appeals are possible.
Please note that although the organiser will endeavour to adhere as far as possible to the stand sizes requested at the time of booking, it cannot be ruled out that deviations from the requested sizes may occur for organisational and/or safety reasons.
After receiving confirmation of participation from the organiser, all Walfer Bicherdeeg participants will be asked to transfer a deposit of €100.00 to the specified account. The name given on the registration form must appear on the bank transfer.
The deposit will be refunded within four weeks after the event, provided that the stand was occupied for the entire duration of the event, the infrastructure of the municipality was not damaged and the general conditions were complied with.
If you have to cancel your participation in the event due to force majeure, please notify us at least two weeks in advance so that we can guarantee the refund of your deposit.
Participants are obliged to set up their stands at the times and on the days notified and to adhere to the boundaries indicated on the plans. For safety reasons, it is not permitted to pile books high on the stand or to store books or other exhibition material outside the boundaries of the stand or in the aisles.
It is strictly forbidden to sell anything other than books unless previously authorised by the event management.
In the Books for Kids hall it is only permitted to sell books for children and young people.
It is strictly forbidden to leave books and other materials in the halls after the event.
